Characteristics of the fake account

• Usernames are similar : @peakblue_shop, etc. (dot) is replaced with _ (underbar), etc., which is very similar to the official account.
  
  
• Low number of posts and followers : The number of posts and followers may be extremely low compared to the official account.
  
  
• Suspicious DMs : Sudden DMs may offer discounts, gifts, or other unnatural solicitations.

■To avoid becoming a victim

• Do not click on the URL listed in the DM :
  Never click on the URL listed in a DM sent from a fake account. Your personal information may be leaked.
  
  
• Block suspicious accounts :
  If you find a fake account, block it immediately and report it to Instagram.
